Black Bean Brownies

You’d never know these are made out of black beans! You’ll love them!


1 15oz can black beans (rinse well)

2 tbsp cacao powder

1/2 cup quick oats

1/4 tsp salt

1/3 cup pure maple syrup

pinch stevia or omit and increase maple syrup to 1/2 cup

1/4 cup coconut oil

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup to 2/3 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350*F. Combine everything in the food processor and blend until completely smooth. Blend it really well! Pour in the chocolate chips and pour into a greased 8×8 pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes in the centre of the stove and let cool before cutting. Store in the fridge. (Makes 9-12 brownies)
