Chocolate Cherry Protein Bars

Mmmm…Chocolate and cherries! It’s like black forest cake without the guilt!


1/2 cup almond butter

2/3 cup chocolate protein powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

pinch of salt

21/2 tsp tbsp coconut milk

1/4 cup unsweetened dried cherries


Mix almond butter and protein powder together. Add vanilla and salt and mix well then add coconut milk. You might need a bit more – just mix it together until it gets a bit sticky. Stir in the dried cherries.

Press into a parchment lined 8×8 baking dish until flat. Refrigerate until firm (1 hour) and store in an air tight container in the refrigerator.

Whallla! Keep them for yourself or wrap them in pretty paper and tie with a bow for someone else! 🙂
