Chocolate, Nuts, and Protein! These guys are seriously addictive – just warning you!
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup walnuts
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbsp cacao powder
1/4 cup protein powder
6 dates (make sure they’re moist)
1 tbsp cacao nibs for garnish
Add almonds, walnuts, sea salt, cacao powder and protein powder to a food processor and blend until fine.
Pit the dates and add them one at a time with your food processing running. When the batter starts to clump you’ve got it just right!
Line 8×8 pan with parchment paper and add mixture. Press down to flatten. You may need to wet your hands a bit if it’s too sticky to work with.
Sprinkle with cacao nibs, press them down, and refrigerate for an hour.
Betcha they won’t last more than a couple of days! 🙂
